Job Description:

The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applicants for two 9-month, tenured faculty positions at the associate professor or professor rank. The positions will be located on the UCF Orlando campus in either the Department of Nursing Systems or the Department of Nursing Practice and are expected to begin Fall 2022.

Minimum Qualifications:

- An earned doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution or a doctorate in a related discipline from an accredited institution with an earned master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

- Eligible for RN licensure in Florida and compact states.

- A focused program of research and scholarly activity that complements existing college research foci.

-Sustained record of research and extramural funding.

-Strong publication record.

-Experience in mentoring doctoral students and early career faculty.

In order to be hired with tenure, the selected candidate must have a demonstrated record of teaching, research and service commensurate with rank.

Preferred Qualifications:

-History of interdisciplinary research collaborations.

-Record of teaching and service commensurate with the college's tenure criteria.

-Experience in online course development and instruction.
